I'm currently work with the NKLA dogs.
Why do you choose to volunteer with Best Friends LA?
Like my fellow volunteers, I'm filled with joy by the dogs and by the idea that we are helping them out. It helps me stay disciplined, and gets me away from work for a few hours a week :)
How long have you been a BFLA/NKLA volunteer?
My 1 year mark was in May.

I work in the marketing industry, play guitar, travel, enjoy beer, and rock climb.
Do you have a favorite story to share about an experience volunteering with Best Friends LA? Share it!
My favorite walks are with the dogs who love to roll around in the grass up by Santa Monica Blvd. My most recent walking buddy who did this was Squidward and it was truly hilarious.
Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
I have a cat named Aes, many of you know as Sully, who I adopted from NKLA last October.
What others are saying about Chris:
Chris is awesome! Since he began to volunteer with us, he is not only one of our strongest dog handlers but someone we (all staff and volunteers) are always so excited to see! He is kind, positive and the epitome of a great teammate! He has also been one of the very most consistent Dog Team volunteers this past year which we are eternally grateful of. We are very lucky to get to work with people like Chris and are honored that he dedicates his time and skill to our group. Thank you for everything Chris! You the best!
