Forget the latest gadget or electronic device...this Black Friday, pet lovers can get a great deal on a lap dog or smart cat during Best Friends Animal Society’s #Holiday100 adoption promotion.
Kicking off on Black Friday, Nov. 23, at 6 a.m., all pets at the Best Friends Pet Adoption Center and select pets at the NKLA Pet Adoption Center are just $10 for the first 100 adopters, emulating “mall mania” with a goal of three record-breaking adoption days. The promotion ends Sunday evening at 8 pm.
There will be more hundreds of dogs, cats, and kittens of all ages and sizes to choose from between the two centers. Each pet is spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated.
“Adopting a pet will give you a lifetime of love and companionship, so it’s the ultimate gift to give yourself and your family,” said Jose Ocano, Pacific Region Director for Best Friends Animal Society.
Since all the pets at Best Friends (and the majority of pets at NKLA) originate from Los Angeles Animal Services, adopters will make a huge impact in helping Los Angeles become the nation’s largest no kill city by the end of the year.
“When you adopt from us, you’re saving two lives – the pet you bring home and the pet that now has space to come into the shelter,” Ocano said. “You can be a part of history by adopting during #Holiday100.”
The Best Friends Pet Adoption Center & Spay/Neuter Center is located at 15321 Brand Boulevard, Mission Hills. The NKLA Pet Adoption Center is located at 1845 Pontius Drive, Los Angeles. Hours for #Holiday100 are 6 am to 8 pm on Friday, and 11 am to 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
