Bono still hasn't found what he's looking for: a forever home!
Bono is a silly three-legged dog that needs a place to rest and relax! It's tiring hopping around a shelter all day, especially carrying around that big handsome head! He doesn't want extra sympathy but missing a front leg does slow him down a little bit. He's working on boosting his stamina and building strength in his remaining front leg, so he is not a candidate for long walks, unless you teach him to ride in a cart! (Now that would be cute!) Bono is an energetic boy who needs to find outlets, aside from romping around too hard. He would love to be entertained by food dispensing toys or frozen treats to keep him busy! He still has a big beautiful smile, even with all of his tough breaks. (After his amputation he had a mast cell tumor removed from a hind leg and has since healed up and is ready to take on the world!) Bono would like to go home with you so he can hang out, get belly rubs, and live his best life with YOU!
Bono was DNA tested with Wisdom Panel and was discovered to be 75% American Staffordshire Terrier, 12.5% standard bulldog and 12.5% "breed groups" of companion/terrier.
