Playgroups at the Best Friends Lifesaving Center in Los Angeles provide an enriching outlet for many of the dogs, all ranging in size and play-style.

Dogs who get regular exercise and a chance to socialize with other dogs are happier, calmer, and have a huge reduction in shelter-environment related stress. Additionally, these "play-dates" give staff and potential adopters a much deeper look into each individual dog's personality/temperament,  play-style, and life-skills.

While not all of our dogs subscribe to the multi-dog lifestyle, we find this program a daily must and something our staff, volunteers, and dogs really enjoy.
